Welcome to the beautiful wedding of Anastasia and Camille. Their magnificent minimalist wedding style was a perfect vibe for ‘The Foundry’ wedding venue in Long Island City, New York. This venue is an upscale residential area that was once a busy manufacturing district, is now one of New York’s most exciting neighborhoods. Long Island City has transformed into a vibrant place for people to enjoy nightlife, contemporary art, restaurants, and greenspace. In my opinion, New York is a fantastic destination for a wedding, with so many excellent wedding venue options. I highly recommend this location.

About the Couple

Anastasia looked elegant in a deep V-neck plunge and sheer lace back silhouette. The chapel length train had the same soft floral sheer lace overlay as the back. Her lovely pearl bridal heels, pearl drop earrings and pearl pendant were the perfect accessories. Camille wore a classic tailored pant suit in navy blue with a crisp white long sleeved collared shirt and silver shoes. The bridal party’s sage green and silver palette is a timeless look, especially when highlighted by bouquets and boutonnieres of creamy white roses with green fillers.

Organize a tour of The Foundry and if you are happy with the venue and location, they will reserve your date for 7 days at no cost. To secure getting married at The Foundry you will need to leave a 50% deposit.

Top Features of The Foundry

This New York Wedding venue is best suited for guests up to 180. The venue is just under 3000 sq ft of renovated industrial warehouse space, the area can be customized to suit. The Foundry is the only 19^th century steel metal foundry that is renovated and repurposed in Long Island City. In 1980 the Du Val family lovingly restored its original character and began celebrating events in 2001.

The Foundry is a blank canvas allowing couples to rent furniture and furnishings to create the ambience that they have always dreamed of for their special day. There is plenty of room for the Bridal couple and wedding planner to create the ambience that they desire. Your wedding will be the only event at this venue on your date.

The options for holding your ceremony and reception include:

The Main Space – indoors – ground floor and mezzanine – polished concrete floors, soaring ceilings, arched brickwork with circular sky lights and floor to ceiling feature windows/doors
The Courtyard – tent option – lush outdoor area
The Rooftop Terrace – Intimate space with beautiful surrounds
The Greenhouse – gorgeous green ivy on interior walls and plenty of natural light through an all-glass ceiling
The Albra Room – magnificent views of the city skyline and Queensboro bridge
The Pool/Billiards Room – a relaxed space for pre/post wedding
The Du Val Suite and Garden – a private loft for accommodation or getting ready

Anastasia and Camille chose the serenity of ‘the greenhouse’ for their beautiful emotion filled ceremony. The ‘main space’ was a romantic reception setting with candles, green ivy, and white plating. There are gorgeous backdrops throughout the venue for some fabulous wedding photos.
